Savoy cabbage salad
This recipe for a simple savoy cabbage salad is from my mother and brings back childhood memories. It is easy to prepare and by boiling the vinegar, the cabbage can also be eaten raw. In this way, you can add cruciferous vegetables to your daily menu in no time at all. Also suitable for those who don’t like vegetables.

Savoy cabbage salad
Ingredients
- 1 savoy cabbage
- 50 ml apple vinegar
- 1 tbsp rapeseed or olive oil
- Pepper
Instructions
- Remove the outer leaves of the savoy cabbage and cut it in half. Either roughly shave the halves or cut them into strips with a knife. The thickness of the strips depends on your preference. Place the lettuce in a bowl.
- Bring the vinegar to the boil in a small saucepan and pour over the savoy cabbage. Add the oil and pepper. Mix the salad and leave to soak in for a while.
