As I were not uploading my food hauls until now, I decided to put them all together on one post. I apologize for some bad pictures. Here they are: In Belem I bought a Ades soy drink unfortunately there was no natural one, so I chose the peach version. Unfortunately this one as well as some others it is not vegan! Carmine says hello! I really don’t get it, why they produce a soy drink, which is not vegan. Thank you Coca Cola. Amazon Cuisine Amazonian cuisine is very fish-heavy and serves mainly Amazonian fish, including the largest freshwater fish; pirarucu. How to go from Manaus to Georgetown
This is a two day trip. It’s best to take a nightbus from Manaus to Boa Vista. There are night buses leaving at 19h or 20h you will arrive approximately at 5:30h or 6:30h. The semi cama costs 170R (43.30CHF/38.36€) and the cama is 230R (58.60CHF/51.90€).

How to find a boat to Manaus
Actually I thought it is pretty complicated to find a boat. But it isn’t. You go to the port in Tabatinga, where the ships to Manaus leave, and there you can buy a ticket for a ship. Ships leave at Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday at noon and at midnight. A hammock place from Tabatinga to Manaus costs 220 Reais (57 CHF/50.77€). A cabin is 220 Reais plus 150 Reais daily.
